Three experiential events to watch this week
Lipton Ice Tea’s water slide, Taste of London and London Technology Week are three experiential events to keep an eye on this week.
Taste of London, 17-21 June
Foodie festival Taste of London kicks off in Regent’s Park this week with brand activations from Laurent-Perrier, Mortimer’s Orchard and Fever-Tree. The Champagne brand will be taking visitors on a guided ‘tour’ of three distinct champagnes, as part of its Moments Masterclass.
Cider brand Mortimer’s will be hosting an Orchard Cider Bar, offering tutored tastings alongside a silent disco. Premium mixer brand Fever-Tree will be celebrating its tenth anniversary with a stop at Taste of London, too.
Lipton Ice Tea’s Rise & Slide, 19 June
Dig out your bikinis and swim shorts for Lipton Ice Tea’s giant 100-m water slide, which will arrive in King’s Cross on Friday for one day only. As part of its Daybreaker series of events this summer, the slide activation will open at 7.30am until 7.30pm on King’s Boulevard.
London Technology Week, 15-21 June
The second London Technology Week, organised by UBM and founded by London’s official convention bureau, London & Partners, kicks off this week with events from headline sponsors Accenture, Bloomberg and Goldmans Sachs, plus a host of both small and large businesses, including Barclays and Baker Tilly. Last year’s inaugural event attracted 40,000 visitors – far more than the 10,000 predicted. Event Magazine
